4. There will be a number of questions the Lowe’s survey team will ask you, answer them as honestly as possible
5. Once you come to the end of the survey, you’ll need to enter some personal information so Lowe’s knows who to contact in case you win

Australia Post, or AusPost as it’s more commonly known, is looking to improve the mailing services they provide their customers. One way they’re doing that is by requesting the feedback from all those who’ve recently used their service. And to say thanks – they’re giving one lucky survey taker a $5,000 Gift Card! That could be you!

Ok, but before you jump in and take the official AusPost MyVisit survey, here are some extra details you’ll need to know:

MyVisit Rules

There’s quite a bit of money involved in this survey – which is awesome! But that also means there needs to be some rules so it’s fair for everyone who takes it.

Follow the following, and you should be all good if they end up choosing you as the winner (fingers crossed!):

• You must be an Australia resident
• You must be over the age of 18, or have consent from a parent or legal guardian
• You must not be related to AusPost in any way
• You must keep the original receipt which you entered with

That’s it! Nothing too out of the ordinary for this one.

Instructions

Fantastic! Now that all the fine print is out of the way, you can jump right in, take the survey, and give AusPost your feedback. Here’s what you’ll need before you begin:

• A six (6) to seven (7) outlet ID number
• A seven (7) to nine (9) digit receipt number

Both of those numbers can be found on your receipt. AusPost has provided some example receipts to show where you can find this information:

Once you’ve got that all ready, this is how you take the survey:

1. Go to the official website (below) that’s hosting the survey on your computer. You can use your phone or tablet but I’ve always found a computer works best for these surveys.
2. Next, enter in the two (2) numbers discussed above
3. If you’ve entered them correctly they’ll invite you to take the survey, otherwise, you’ll get an error message
4. Once the system has verified your numbers are legitimate, you’ll be taken to the next page to begin to leave your feedback
5. At the end of the questionnaire, you’ll be asked for a bit more information if you’d like to enter the giveaway (of course you would!). So you may need to give them the following:
   • Full name
   • Address
   • Email
   • Phone number
6. That’s it! Congratulations – you’ve just entered into AusPost’s $5,000 giveaway. Good luck!

Some questions they might ask you along the way:

• What was your overall satisfaction with their mailing service?
• Was there anything they could’ve improved?
• Did you receive your packages in a timely manner (if applicable)?
• How was the friendliness of the staff? Were they knowledgeable about the questions you had?
• How likely would you recommend AusPost to a friend?

About My Grocery/SpartanNash

Chances are if you’ve ever done some grocery shopping in the US, the food came from SpartanNash. They currently supply over 2,100 independent grocery stores in the US. That’s one huge number! They’ve been in business for an incredible 101 years and are also the largest food distributor for military stores and exchanges in the US.

SpartanNash currently has a presence in 44 states as well as Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East.

History

Back when it was founded in 1917, the company was known as the Grand Rapids Wholesale Grocery Company. They originally started as a retail cooperative, where over 100 supermarkets joined forces to purchase their produce in bulk and thus passing savings onto the customer.

They operated this business model for 40 years until they decided in the 70s that they would go full steam ahead and focus on becoming a for-profit organization. Following this decision, they rebranded to the name of Spartan Stores, in 1957.

Throughout the nineties, they periodically bought a bunch of different supermarket chains to further develop their US presence.

It wasn’t until 2013 that the SpartanNash that we know today was born. Spartan Stores merged with Nash Finch, an even older distribution company with its history dating back as far as 1885.

Today they are the main distributor for a whole bunch of retail chains including D&W Fresh Markets, Family Fare Supermarkets, and Glen’s. They’re also one of the primary suppliers to military commissaries around the US.

Reviews from Staff

Staff members seem relatively happy with their jobs according to the reviews online and the CEO is pretty popular; 63% approve of him on Glassdoor and staff are happy with their company discount and their co-workers.

Awards

One of the company’s major achievements has to be the insane number of awards under their belt…

They’re consistently ranked in Fortune 500 and even received the Fortune 500 ‘World’s Most Admired Companies’ award back in 2013.

In 2016 and 2017 they were awarded bronze by the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency which they then beat in 2018 with a silver award for being a ‘Veteran-Friendly employer’.

The women in the company have also been recognized as some of the ‘Top Women in Grocery’ by Progressive Grocer with 15 of their female associates being recognized in 2018. Now that’s some girl power right there!!

In the Community

SpartanNash has a huge commitment to making a change in the local communities and there’s a crazy amount of content on their website about this. They even have a form on their site where local non-profits can apply for grants for events and fundraisers. Make sure to let them know what you think about their social responsibility on their MyGroceryFeedback survey!

They’re also huge advocates for ending hunger, donating over 5 million lbs. of food in 2017 to the less fortunate.

Staff are continuously encouraged to participate in volunteering whenever they can and even offer to make donations to staff member’s charities of choice if they log 100 hours of volunteer work in a calendar year. In 2017, staff logged a staggering 41,016 hours of volunteering which was over a third higher than their target goal.

They even offered a discount for veterans and currently serving military personnel this Veterans Day

I think we can all take a leaf out of their book when it comes to their charitable endeavors and frankly, I would love to work for a company that encouraged me to give back so much.

Fashion’s a tough industry to be in. Thankfully, Maurices has over 80 years of experience in the industry to keep them going in the ever-changing fashion world. In order to collect all of the feedback, they want you to complete the customer satisfaction feedback form called Tell Maurices. It’s a pretty simple survey to take and won’t take you more than 10 minutes to complete! 😀

Here are the specific details:

Maurices Survey Rules

Maurices is giving away quite a bit of money in this survey so they’ve written up a few rules all survey-takers need to follow (just so it’s fair for everyone that enters). This is what they are:

• You must be a legal resident of the USA, Canada, or the UK
• You must be over the age of majority in the USA, or over the age of 18 in Canada or the UK
• You must not be related to the Maurices company in any way (employee or friend of employee etc.)

Survey Instructions

Within all the rules? Awesome! You qualify to tell Maurices exactly how their company’s doing and can win $1,000 for doing so! Quick heads up though – you do need to be a previous customer of Maurices to take the survey (you’ll need some info from the receipt to verify yourself).

In total, there are six (6) pieces of information on your receipt you’ll need:

• The four (4) digit store number
• The transaction number
• The register number
• The date you visited the store
• The exact time of your transaction
• The last three (3) digits of the coupon survey number (at the bottom of the receipt)

2. Enter in the six (6) pieces of information from your receipt into the correct text boxes
3. If you’ve entered them correctly, you’ll be invited to take Maurices survey. Otherwise, you may get an error message – re-enter the info and try again. If you’re having trouble at this stage, call (800) 467-0047.
4. Once you’ve passed the verification page, answer all the questions Maurices customer satisfaction team has for you. Be as detailed as possible here.

About Maurices

Maurices is a fashion retailer specializing in women’s clothes and is based in Duluth, Minnesota. They currently have over 1000 stores in the US, Canada and Puerto Rico.

They like to generally focus on their small-town roots, usually opening their stores in shopping malls in smaller towns and cities. Their head office is still in the same town that they opened their first store, which I think is kinda nice.

History

The store was founded in 1931 by E. Maurice Labovitz, and finally turned its first profit 9 months after opening day with a grand total of $4.12 (about 60 bucks in today’s money!) The company remained under family ownership until 1978 when it was taken over by the Brenninkmeyer family (American Retail Group). Then, in 2005 they were purchased by Dressbarn which later became part of the Ascena group.

Ascena own many common high street brands that you’ve probably heard of including tween brand Justice, Ann Taylor, LOFT, Catherine’s and Lou & Gray. Ascena has a whopping 65,000 employees.

In 2014 their 900^th store was opened and today they have over 9,000 employees in their stores and head office.

What’s it like working for them?

Their ratings from employees on Glassdoor are pretty solid. With almost 900 reviews they average 3.7 stars out of 5 and 93% of them actually approve of the big guy sitting at the top of the company, George Goldfarb.

Employees are happy with the clothing discount they get there although they can’t sign up for the company’s credit card, so they can get points and rewards etc. (which kinda sucks). They offer pretty good health benefits though as well as a 401k.

Heaps of employees report a great working environment with friendly co-workers and fun incentives – I want to work there!! Hey Maurices I’ll give you extra good feedback on your survey if you through a job my way 😛

Giving back

They’re also pretty well known for giving back in their local community. They do an annual Grand Give, where employees volunteer 1,500 hours of their time to community organizations and even do something called a ‘Pause Day’ every quarter which they can spend a work day volunteering. Not only do they do that, but they also help out their workers in times of need too, which is pretty incredible.

The program is called Dimes from the Heart and allows employees to apply for a grant of up to $2,500 if they should see find themselves in a time of need. Emergencies such as natural disasters, domestic violence or even emergency medical and funeral expenses for loved ones at home are some things that employees can claim for. What’s even better about this incredibly generous scheme is that it’s actually funded by associates who work in Maurices. My heart is literally melting

Rewards Program

They don’t just look after their employees, there’s also a loyalty scheme for customers called my rewards. It’s pretty simple, each $ spent = 1 point and 100 points = $5 to spend in store. They even offer a neat welcome bonus of five bucks just for signing up alongside birthday discounts and bonus points days, so you can get your vouchers quicker!

Celebrity Collaborations

Most retailers love bagging themselves a celebrity endorsement, it’s a great way to get people into your shops. Maurices teamed up with celeb designer Christopher Straub back in 2011 and even got the brand on season 6 of Project Runway! That was some great coverage for them.

When they launched their Mall of America store in 2013, they also teamed up with country band Gloriana, who performed on the big day!

Countdown is one of New Zealand’s largest grocery stores – serving more than 3 million customers every week. They’ve grown so huge simply because they listen to what you, the customer, has to say. They value your feedback so much they’re giving you the opportunity to win a $500 Countdown Gift Card.

This way of gathering feedback from customer is quite common in New Zealand and around the world.

There’s two ways you can enter the survey. Either by using the tax invoice code printed on your receipt, or via an invitation code that you’ve received.

Once you’ve got the receipt and the number ready to go, follow these instructions:

1. Search for CountdownListens, head directly to www.CountdownListens.co.nz or click the link a bit further down
2. Once you’re at the main page, you’ll a brief section explaining what the survey is and how it works. Click “Being Survey” to start
3. On the first page, you’ll be asked to enter in the store number of the Countdown you visited and the transaction number. As well as the date and time you visited the store
4. After the survey system verifies you, go through the survey and answer all the questions their feedback team has for you
5. Near the end of the survey, you’ll be asked whether you want to participate in their $500 gift card giveaway
6. If you select yes, you’ll need to enter in some personal contact information in case you are the lucky winner
7. And you’re all done! You’ve just completed the CountdownListens survey and are in the running for a $500 gift card to their stores. Good luck!

The team behind the survey at Countdown may ask questions like this one:

• How likely is it that you’ll recommend this specific Countdown store based on your experience?
• On a scale of 1-10, how satisfied or dissatisfied are you with your most recent visit to their store?

Countdown is a subsidiary company owned by Woolworths, one of the largest grocery stores in Australia. Woolworths opened its first store way back in 1929 in Wellington. It wasn’t until more than 50 years later when the first Countdown store opened in Christchurch. As you know, this would be the start of something massive.

Over the following decades, the company would grow and merge with many others, leading to a retail group that would control a huge chunk of the New Zealand retail industry.

Today, there are over 180 Countdown supermarkets around the country, employing more than 18,000 people. This makes them one of the largest employers in New Zealand. Their supermarkets have a heavy focus on freshness, with their locations receiving over 250,000 deliveries every year.

One of the reasons they’ve been able to grow to such a large company, yet still be loved by the community they serve, is their ability to focus on customer service. The Countdown Listens survey you see here today is just one of the many methods Countdown uses to gauge their customer satisfaction and how they can further improve their offerings.

Surveys like these are not uncommon in the retail industry, nor in the fast food industry. Take McDonald’s in Australia, for example. With more community-focused programs such as sensory focused hours, it’s likely we’ll see Countdown continue to grow throughout New Zealand.

Another company which has grown dramatically thanks to their attention to customer feedback is Noel Leeming. They’ve become one of the largest consumer electronics retailers in New Zealand thanks to feedback generating initiatives such as the survey at www.NoelLeeming.co.nz/Feedback.

Good news to all you Chick-fil-A lovers out there – there aren’t any official rules to the mycfavisit survey! However, if you want to take the survey and walk away with a free sandwich the next time you walk out of a Chick-fil-A store, you will have to have a receipt with an invitation to take the survey.

How to get a Free Sandwich

While we’ll never recommend providing bad feedback Chick-fil-A does like to reward those who provide their honest opinion. More often than not you’ll find that providing a review of your recent visit (good or bad) could earn you a free sandwich.

In fact if you use the app to provide feedback about your order it’s likely that they will offer you a coupon for a nice treat or potentially even a free sandwich.

They do provide a QR code on the receipt these days but the tried and true method is below. Additionally you can skip the manual labor of typing in codes and weblinks if you simply use the iOS application! Instructions For Mycfavisit

Welcome! 🙂 If you do have a receipt in front of you from your previous visit to Chick-fil-A, you’ll need one piece of information from it to take the survey:

• The (very long) serial number that’s printed on your receipt

If you’re not sure where it is, here are a couple of real life examples of Chick-fil-A receipts that have invitations to complete the mycfavisit survey:

Now that you’ve got the serial number all ready to go, follow these instructions to take the survey:

1. Visit the official website hosting the survey (link below)
2. Enter in the serial number from your receipt. If you get an error, re-enter the number and try again. If you still get an error, give them a call (details further down the page)
3. Once you’ve been verified by the system as having a valid Chick-fil-A serial number, you’ll be invited to take the survey. This is a similar practice to Dunkin Donut’s TellDunkin survey which also requires a special code to take it.
4. Now that you’re in the survey, answer all the questions Chick-fil-A customer satisfaction team has for you, be as detailed as possible so they can improve your experience next time.
5. At the end of the survey, write down your validation code on your receipt.
6. And you’re done! Congratulations 😀 😀 You just completed the mycfavisit survey and can redeem your free sandwich the next time you visit one of their restaurants.

Here are some example questions you might be asked:

• Based on your experience, how likely is it that you’ll return to this Chick-fil-A in the next 30 days?
• How likely is it that you’ll recommend this Chick-fil-A to family and friends in the future?
• Were you satisfied with your meal and the temperature of the food?
• Were the staff members able to assist you in a friendly manner?
• Was the restaurant clean and presentable?
• Was there anything on the Chick-fil-A menu you’d like to see in the future?

About Chick-fil-A

If, like me, and have a soft spot for chicken sandwiches, then you’re probably all too familiar with Chick-fil-A. Their HQ is in Georgia and to date they have over 2,727 locations across the US and Canada. You can bet this is because of management consistently listening to customer feedback as seen by the survey here today – mycfavisit.

History

The company was founded back in 1946 by S. Truett Cathy, back then though it was called the Dwarf Grill, later becoming the Dwarf House. It wasn’t until 1961 that the name Chick-fil-A was registered by Cathy after he discovered a fryer that could cook a chicken fillet in the same amount of time it would take to cook a burger. Then in 1967 he opened up his first store, which was actually in a mall in Atlanta.

Like other fast food chains, they adopted the franchise model for expansion, though they kinda kept it solely in malls until they opened their first standalone restaurant in 1986. Most of their stores have stuck to the southern states though in 2015 they opened an enormous, 5000 sq. ft, three-story restaurant in Manhattan. They did expand to Canada but there’s currently only one, at Calgary airport.

They’ve also expanded into the drive-thru only market with 31 of their stores having no dine in option.

They dabbled with the South African market but were unsuccessful. Their only two restaurants were closed in 2001. Must’ve received some pretty negative feedback on the Chick fil a survey to close after just two stores! D:

Working for them

It seems that employees are pretty happy working for the company with a whopping 92% of employees approving of the CEO. 74% of their employees would recommend working there to a friend and they have almost 4 stars Glassdoor from 4500 reviews. They actually won an award in 2018 for landing a spot in the top 100 places to work. They’ve also been featured as one of the Best Employers as ranked by Forbes.

I reckon if employees were allowed to fill out Chik-fil-A’s survey they’d be telling some pretty amazing stories!

Fun Facts

One of the things I actually love about the restaurant is that they close on Sundays. This was apparently because Cathy had worked in the service industry prior to starting Chick-fil-A and understood how much it can suck to be on a 7-day schedule. Though some customers may be against it, I think it’s good to have a weekend day off!

Usually, to franchise a restaurant you need heaps of cash, however, that’s not the case with these guys. You can own your own restaurant for just $10,000 and they pay for all the costs associated with start-up. Obviously though, this means that there’s an awful lot of competition, so you have to make sure you find a way to stand out from the crowd!

If you want to get a hold of their secret recipe to their delicious chicken, which is said to have over 20 spices, you will be faced with quite the challenge. It is literally locked away in a vault at their HQ in Georgia. Although there are plenty of copy-cat recipes on the internet like this one from Hila Cooking but I still think nothing beats the original!

Future

Despite their past troubles in Canada, in 2019 they are hoping to expand further into the Canadian market. They’re opening a restaurant in Toronto and in the next 5 years they plan to open another 15-20 locations within the greater Toronto area. Let’s hope it does better than their first store they opened at the University of Alberta back in 1994.

Maybe instead of relying on the mycfavisit survey for Canadians they should just watch some Youtube video of Canadians already trying their chicken 😛

If you are a Canadian – you don’t have to film a video of you eating it, just make sure to consistently tell Chik-fil-A how they’re new stores are doing up there on mycfavisit so they know what they’re doing right and what can be improved on.

The way Walmart has chosen to invite people to take their survey is by printing an invitation code on the receipt from your purchase.

Here’s an example of what it might look like:

With your receipt in front of you, follow these instructions:

1. Search Google for the Walmart Survey or head directly to www.Survey.Walmart.com
2. Enter in the survey invitation code and store number
3. After the system has verified you, you’ll be invited to take the survey
4. Walmart’s customer satisfaction team will then present a range of questions for you to answer
5. Near the end of the survey, you’ll be asked for some personal information to enter into the $1,000 giveaway
6. And you’re all done! You’ve just completed Walmart’s survey and are now in the running to win $1,000 cash – Good luck!

Some of the questions their team may ask includes:

• Is there anything Walmart’s staff could’ve done to improve your experience?
• Was it easy to find what you were looking for throughout the store?
• How likely is it that you’ll re-visit this particular Walmart based on your recent experience?
• Did you interest with any of the floor staff? How did they handle your enquiries?
• Based on this experience, would you recommend Walmart to family and friends?

That’s because their pure dominance of the American retail market has grown them into one of the largest companies in the world, with millions of stakeholders across the globe.
